Fabtrick Mobile App Branding
Project Overview
Fabtrick is a concept I developed from the ground up from naming and logo design to building a complete brand identity and marketing suite. The project aimed to create a brand that speaks to fashion enthusiasts who love exploring creativity and personal style through fabrics.
Naming the Brand
The name “Fabtrick” was born after exploring several directions that blend creativity and craftsmanship. It merges “Fab” for fabrics with “trick” for the clever tips and techniques behind customizing outfits a name that feels playful, memorable, and true to the brand’s purpose.
Logo Design
The Fabtrick logo combines form and function to symbolize craftsmanship and creativity in one mark. The icon subtly shapes the letter “F” using a sewing machine, worktable, and thread reel, encased within a stitched circular border that reflects the handmade essence of fashion. The vibrant color spectrum represents diversity and infinite design possibilities bringing the brand’s inventive spirit to life in a modern, elegant way.
Typography & Visual Identity
To maintain consistency and clarity across print and digital platforms, I selected a versatile, widely recognized typeface known for its readability and timeless appeal. The type system reinforces the brand’s approachable yet confident personality, making it adaptable for both app interfaces and promotional materials.
Brand Collateral & Marketing
Extending beyond the digital experience, I designed a range of branding materials including posters, T-shirts, and event collateral to bring the identity to life. I also produced a product marketing video ad to introduce Fabtrick’s concept, highlighting its personality through visual storytelling and motion design.
